What we do

Everything a CFO does — sized to your business.

You don't need a full-time hire to get the thinking of one. We step in as your fractional CFO and own the financial side of the business, so you can run the rest of it.

i.

Cash flow management

A rolling 13-week forecast, free cash after obligations, and runway — so you always know what's truly spendable.

ii.

Forecasting & budgeting

Forward financial models and scenario planning that turn "what if" into a number you can plan around.

iii.

Banking & financing

Lender-ready financials, the right facility at the right time, and relationships managed as a strategic asset.

iv.

Dashboards & reporting

Board- and lender-ready reporting every month, plus a recorded walkthrough of your dashboard and statements.

v.

Profitability & margin

Pricing, cost structure, and unit economics examined so a good month on paper is a good month in the bank.

vi.

Tax-aware planning

401(k), healthcare, and owner compensation structured for tax efficiency — coordinated with your CPA, not in place of one.

vii.

Benefit planning

Retirement plan design — 401(k), profit-sharing, and defined-benefit structures — plus key-employee retention tools that reward the people who grow the business.

viii.

Wealth accumulation

Coordinating the profit the business throws off with a disciplined plan to build personal wealth — tax-aware, structured, and built to compound.

ix.

Wealth distribution

Turning built wealth into income and legacy — drawdown strategy, succession, and transferring what you've created on your terms.

The line we hold: we advise on top of your books — we don't keep them. No bookkeeping, monthly close, tax filing, or AP/AR processing. Just senior judgment on the numbers.
Establishing a banking relationship

Your bank should be an asset — not an afterthought.

Most owners meet their bank only when they need something, from a position of weakness. We do the opposite: we build the relationship deliberately, on your terms, so capital is there before you need it.

"We've sat on the bank's side of the table — and we read a deal the way a lender does."
Decades of commercial banking, SBA & lending experience
Stage One

Prepare

We build the story a bank needs to see — clean books, a clear cash position, and credible forecasts — so you approach lenders ready to ask for financing, not reacting under pressure.

Stage Two

Engage

We take that story to market — approaching several banks at once for competing quotes and managing the underwriting process in parallel, so you choose from real offers side by side.

Stage Three

Leverage

We manage the financing and relationships you've secured, keep facilities working in your favor, and pursue opportunities to expand the relationship as the business grows.

Not a ladder — an ebb and flow. Owners move between these stages as the relationship deepens and the need shifts.
Who you're working with

A practice built on banking, not just bookkeeping.

Paul C. Sinaly

Founder & Owner · P&P Accountants & Advisors

For more than thirty years, Paul has worked at the intersection of accounting and banking — first inside the institutions, then on behalf of the owners who deal with them. He spent years at Citibank/Citigroup before founding his own CPA practice, building a career across commercial banking and lending, mergers and acquisitions, and tax and advisory work for high-net-worth families and business owners.

What sets Paul apart from the average CPA is the banking side of his résumé. He has helped clients secure SBA, commercial, and construction financing, structured lines of credit, and guided companies through expansions and transactions — so he reads a deal the way a lender does. He earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting and taxation from St. John's University and holds the CPA and MBA along with Series 7 and 63 licenses.

He leads Banking Committee work at the New York State Society of CPAs, has served as an adjunct professor at NYU, sits on the U.S. District Export Council of New York, and stays active across the region's capital and venture community. He treats every client as a partner — not an account.
